Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We currently do not have a waitlist for apartments and have immediate availability for one-bedroom apartment homes. We do have a couple of two-bedroom apartment homes that will be available in the next month or so.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
I have attached a pricing overview for your reference.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Our staff consists of a Property Manager, 8 Resident Assistants/Leasing Consultants who handle the front desk, an Activity Director, a Maintenance Director, a driver, and 3 housekeeping professionals. We also have a contract with a food service provider called Joey's Cafe that employs dining room and kitchen staff. Our staff receive training specific to the duties of their individual positions. We do not have any medical staff on-site, as we are an Independent Living Community. However, many of our residents do hire private home health and caregiving services to assist them with any aspects of daily living they may need help with.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have a Resident Assistant at the front desk 24 hours a day to respond to any emergencies that may occur. Our facility is ADA-compliant and
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Our Resident Assistants are available 24 hours a day to aid our residents with any questions they may have. During the leasing process, we provide new residents with a resident handbook that is a helpful guide to our community. We want our residents to feel at home in our community and are happy to help them get acclimated to their new surroundings.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We provide transportation by appointment only on scheduled days. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we provide transportation to Walmart. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we provide transportation to local doctors' appointments from 8am-2pm. On Fridays, we provide transportation for errands between the hours of 9am-noon. Residents must sign up in advance for transportation services. We do not offer paratransit services, however, Aging Services and Embark are two transportation services in our city that do offer paratransit services.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our dining room service is provided by Joey's Cafe. We offer restaurant-style dining and serve 3 meals per day. We have daily lunch and dinner specials in addition to the regular menu. Residents seat themselves in the dining room and Joey's waitstaff will come and take their orders and deliver their food to them. Residents may order their meals to go and take the meal to their apartment if they prefer. We do offer meal delivery for an additional fee.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Residents may submit complaints or issues with the front desk or with the Property Manager. Complaints and issues are responded to promptly.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Our residents fill out Emergency Contact Forms when they move into our community. We notify the emergency contact provided for any emergencies or incidents concerning our residents. Family members can visit the community at any time to check on their loved ones.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer short-term or respite stays as we are an Independent Living Community.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We do allow small pets (35 pounds are less) Our residents are responsible for following the pet guidelines outlined in their lease contract.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We have an annual flu shot clinic in the community every fall. We do not currently provide COVID-19 vaccinations.
Are residents able to age in place?
Many of our residents age in place by hiring and utilizing home health services and caregiving services. We do not provide medical services; however, residents can privately hire medical professionals to assist them with aging in place. We currently do not have a waitlist for apartments and have immediate availability for one-bedroom apartment homes. We do have a couple of two-bedroom apartment homes that will be available in the next month or so.
