Yes, Pets are allowed with full up to date vaccines and a one-time Pet Fee of $500.

Yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Aging in Place

Yes, up to a point. Our policy states Residents can get private care services in the IL apartments up to 8 hours per day.

Assisted Living

At Shem Creek Health Center, our caring staff provides residents assistance with the activities of daily living in an elegant, residential setting. Our spacious one bedroom floor plans allow residents to enjoy the lifestyle they want while receiving the support they need with bathing, grooming, dressing, medication administration and safety oversight.

Memory Care

For individuals who are experiencing cognitive decline, Shem Creek Health Center provides specialized memory support in a safe, comfortable environment. Our trained staff focus on memory maintenance and social stimulation to help each resident live life to the fullest. Shem Creek Health Center recognizes that each individual is unique, in both mind and body. Through Liberty Senior Living’s GEMMS program— Genuine, Engaging and Meaningful Memory Support— our staff are proficient in the skills that preserve our residents’ independence and acknowledge the abilities they still possess.

Respite Care

Short-term accommodations are available for those who need a temporary care solution. Respite stays are designed for those who have had surgery, experienced a fall or recent illness or who have family members or caregivers that are going away on business or vacation. Respite accommodations can also be used as a trial period for those who are unsure about making a permanent move.

Skilled Nursing Care

For those who need a longer term care solution, Shem Creek Nursing offers accommodations with 24-hour oversight by a licensed nurse. Amenity areas in Shem Creek are airy and inviting, making it a welcoming location to visit with family and friends. Resident rooms are pleasantly decorated with furnishings that make mobility easier when health conditions impact lifestyle.

Short-Term Rehabilitation Services

For those in need of recuperation from an illness, injury or traumatic health occurrence (such as stroke or heart attack), Shem Creek Rehabilitation offers accommodations. These include short-term rehabilitation for joint replacement, cardiac rehabilitation and other post-acute therapy needs. In-house licensed therapists are also available to provide speech, physical and occupational therapy. Shem Creek has a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym with a full range of modalities with spacious, attractive, private rooms ensuring a pleasant stay during recuperative periods.
