Overview of Staff Professionals and Training
We have a diverse team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Our staff includes:
- Registered Nurses (RNs): They oversee both Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our RNs undergo mandatory training as per Oregon state regulations and participate in continual training to stay updated with the latest health policies and guidelines.
- Memory Care Program Manager: An administrator dedicated to managing our Memory Care program.
- Resident Care Coordinators: We have two full-time Coordinators responsible for monitoring the health and safety of our community members.
Safety Measures for Residents
Safety is our top priority. We recognize that each resident has unique safety needs, ranging from those who can independently ensure their safety to those who require various levels of intervention.
- Our person-centered approach involves implementing safety interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Interventions are implemented as soon as a safety concern arises to ensure resident well-being.
Resources to Aid Resident Transition
We offer significant support for new residents to make their transition as smooth as possible:
- Our staff is aware of new residents and offer support to make them comfortable.
- We monitor for signs of stress or depression and intervene where possible to provide assistance.

Communication with Families
We maintain open communication with residents' families:
- Care plan meetings with Resident Care Coordinators occur every three months.
- Families are encouraged to notify health services of any concerns they notice in their loved ones.
- Our staff monitors all forms of communication, including body language and facial expressions, especially for residents without family involvement.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term and respite stays:
- The process and costs are the same as for long-term living.
Pet-Friendly Policy
We are a pet-friendly community:
- A non-refundable pet deposit is required.
- Residents or their families must be able to care for the pets, although neighbors may help out in certain situations.
