Welcome to Schooner Estates

Although we do have a limited number of residential care beds, with a waitlist for those openings, residential care is the highest level of care that Schooner Estates can safely accommodate. We are a no lift facility, with a sister facility, Schooner Memory Care, dedicated to memory care. We have both Assisted Living and Independent Living apartment availability.

Pricing and Cost Information

The pricing and cost information are on the last 2 pages of the brochure. We have many departments of staff, and all of our staff complete state required and facility required training to provide the Tenants here with the best community living experience possible. The staff here follow all state requirements to keep our residents healthy.

Living Experience

Life here at Schooner Estates is highly independent, but there are always staff members in the building you can contact for your needs. We have a nursing staff that will do a pre-approval assessment for all tenants prior to them being accepted at Schooner Estates to be sure they are moving into the neighborhood that provides the right level of care, and to be sure we can meet the care needs of the individual prior to them moving in.

Transportation and Dining

We do offer free transportation, anywhere in the Lewiston Auburn Area, with a hopping shuttle that goes out twice weekly. We have several different dining options, depending on what neighborhood you live in and your preferences. We have a host and servers at each meal, and you need only have a seat in the dining room and the staff will do the rest.

Staff and Tenant Care

Our staff is diligent and wants all of our tenants to feel valued and cared for. Any complaints that are brought to staff are addressed and resolved to the best of our ability. As far as communication with families, that is a question you can ask the nursing team when you meet them. We offer apartments at a monthly rental fee, and do have guest rooms available for visitors.

Pet Policy and Medical Needs

Our Community does allow cats, but we have a no dogs policy. Vaccinations, as well as other medical needs, are usually taken care of at your Primary Care Provider visits. And all potential Tenants must have a local PCP prior to tenancy at Schooner Estates.

Additional Services and Residential Care

We do have the option for residents to add in services on an ala carte basis in both Independent and Assisted living options. Residential care includes all the services we provide, and we do want tenants to stay as long as possible. If it becomes a safety risk or their care needs require a higher level than we can provide, the nursing staff will meet with you to discuss the options, including alternative placement if needed.
