Overview of Staff and Training

The staff in Assisted Living are comprised of Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). All staff are required to maintain yearly Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The facility utilizes Relias training alongside onboarding training and in-person in-service sessions to ensure staff competency.

Resident Safety and Well-being Measures

Each resident is provided with an alert bracelet or necklace for 24/7 assistance. A customized care plan is developed by the Nurse Manager to meet individual needs, which may include nightly checks. An evaluation by the in-house therapy team is also recommended to ensure safety in apartment areas such as the bathroom and bedroom.

Resources for Transition into Community

New residents are partnered with a resident ambassador to ease their transition. The facility's management and staff are available to meet with residents and address any questions during the transition period.

Transportation Services

Transportation is offered to doctor's appointments. Additionally, there are scheduled days for trips to the grocery store or Target, as noted on the community calendar.

Dining Experience

The facility provides three meals a day with a restaurant-style dining experience. Residents have a two-hour window to enjoy their meals, with delivery available for $5.00—waived if the resident is ill. Meals can also be ordered for pickup.
