Training Protocols

• We are divided into three groups: Sales/Marketing, Management, and Staff. Each has separate training protocols. I am only familiar with my section details, but training programs are available as needed.

Resident Communication and Safety

• Currently, we use Lively for our residents. It is a GPS/Phone device that hangs around their neck, allowing us to communicate and track the whereabouts of our residents through this third-party service.

New Resident Introduction

• We have a volunteer group that assists all new residents. They are responsible for introducing them to the community and providing weeks of supervision and companionship to help them learn about the community.

Complaints and Concerns

• All complaints or concerns should go through the management team.

Apartment Pricing

• Apartments start at $2615, varying depending on size.

Family Communication

• We contact the families if there are any concerns we may have.

Respite Stays

• We offer some respite stays with a requirement of at least one month rental, $100 per day for the apartment, and no medical support offered. Medical support must be covered by insurance or other arrangements made.

Pet Policy

• We are pet-friendly with no deposits or requirements, other than the approval of the pet. For example, some animals like elephants are not allowed.

Apartment Availability

• Some models are unavailable or on a waitlist, but we have 1-bedroom apartments available at this time.

Medical Services

• We are independent living and typically do not offer on-site medical care. However, we usually have a Flu Shot Day where another vendor is allowed to offer flu shots and some vaccine shots; participation is not mandatory.

Aging in Place

• Our community is designed to be an age-in-place community. While we are independent living, we have third parties that provide assisted living services, even up to Hospice. You can definitely age in place here.
