Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We currently do not have a waitlist, but in the event we needed to you would be made aware.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
Pricing currently is $305/day for semi-private - $345/day private as available.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
The Professionals on staff all have to have medical licenses when providing direct care to our residents this is monitored by State and Federal guidelines. All others are governed by the Agency for Healthcare Administration. Education is continuous and is driven by our Amazing Administrative team following AHCA guidelines. Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists. As well as the Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and other professionals who follow these guidelines.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
In regards to security, our building is secured but not considered a "Locked" facility. Meaning all doors are closed and secure and you have to be let in our out, regarding visitors, vendors, and others. We have cameras throughout the facility halls and entryways to monitor. This in addition to a full staff monitoring the residents continually.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have a Social Services team that assists with any transitions home, setting up any services one may need and offering a variety of support based on what our professionals have suggested for your loved one.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We offer transportation to medical appointments and special event outings for long term residents.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Dining is all about choice! We have lovely Dining Rooms to eat all meals or you can have meals in your room if you desire.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
If a resident or family member have a concern we have a grievance process where they can submit concerns in writing anonymously or can speak with the Social Service Department. From there concerns are reviewed by the Administration and if the person submitting the concern is named then we will rectify any issues with that resident or family. We follow through and investigate all concerns immediately.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
There are multiple ways we communicate with families. First is directly from nursing staff in person with updates as appropriate. We also have Care Plan meetings regularly to sit down with families and all disciplines to review care. In addition any changes in condition would be communicated to whomever has been designated to receive that information within your loved ones family. You can get updates at any time from our Nursing, Therapy or any other discipline as desired.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do offer respite stays at the cost quoted above. The only addition cost would be medications which are not included in the Room and Board cost.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
WE LOVE PETS! As long as they have their paperwork regarding shots they are welcome in the center. We don't allow residents to keep their pets but do allow visits OFTEN. From pet therapy, family pets to staff bringing pets to visit, they are welcome.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, Covid and Flu vaccinations are offered to all residents and monitored by our Nursing team.
Are residents able to age in place?
We are a Skilled Nursing Facility, aging in place is more suited for communities having Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Centers together. That being said if a resident meets the criteria requiring Skilled Nursing then they would remain here as long as it was appropriate to do so. We have many residents that have lived in our center for many years.
