Availability and Pricing

Depending on the style of apartment you are interested in, there is a waitlist for our studio units and our 2 bedrooms since we currently don’t have any available in Independent Living. The apartments we have available right now are our large 1 bedroom, they are 553 sq ft. and are going for $4,990 per month.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have a few different ways to ensure security for our residents. One of the ways is by providing all our resident with an emergency call system to call for in help in case of an emergency. We can go into further details during a call as well.

Transition Support Services

Absolutely! We can, not only give referrals to agencies that can assist, but we as the staff here at River’s Edge make it a point to ensure the acclimation process is catered to. I’d be happy to discuss more during a call with you.

Transportation Services

Yes, we offer transportation for our resident to doctors’ appointments, store runs, group outings, etc. Everything within a 5-mile radius of the community is included in your rent, anything outside of the 5 miles is $1 per mile.

Dining Experience

The dining experience is very similar to fine dining at a restaurant. Our Executive Chef prepares his chef specials every day, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He will also have a Fresh Zest option, which is a vegetarian entrée available on the menu every day. I know you mentioned that you aren’t looking to move right away, but I definitely encourage you to come in for a visit and have lunch or dinner with us, on us. The food is really good.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

At any time, a resident has issues or concerns we always encourage and remind them that we have an open-door policy. Residents can bring any major concerns to our Executive Director any time, or any member of our team. We also have Town Hall meetings once a month with our residents to address concerns, give updates about the community, etc.

Communication with Residents' Families

The line of communication is always open with our resident’s family members, especially during an emergency. Independent Living residents, we will reach out to emergency contacts if we have had to call emergency dispatch, or the residents went to the hospital. Before doing so, depending on the situation, we will ask the resident if they would like us to notify their loved ones. I can go into this further over the phone to dive deeper into the policy. 😊

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do have Respite stay, but only in Assisted Living, the minimum number of days in our respite is 30 days. The cost would be monthly rate of the unit, plus any care services needed during that stay.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet friendly community we allow small dogs and cats here at the community, we even have a dog park! We allow up to 2 pets in the apartment, and there is a one-time pet fee of $1,000 per pet.

Vaccination Services

Yes, Our Activities Department schedules vaccinations here at the community for Covid, flu, and others.

Age in Place

Yes, River’s Edge is considered an age in place community. We offer Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory care. On our phone call we can discuss further on what a transfer to assisted living looks like for a resident when the time comes.
