Types of Professionals on Staff and Training
Our staff includes a range of professionals trained to provide the best care for our residents. New hires must complete a 6-hour state-mandated Dementia training course before beginning floor training. We also have monthly and continuous training sessions focusing on essential skills such as lifting, managing behaviors, and understanding the progression of aging in our seniors.Measures to Ensure Safety and Well-being
All potential new residents undergo an assessment conducted by a Nurse or a designated person from the community to determine their specific needs. Although we cannot guarantee absolute safety, understanding each resident's needs and routine allows us to better anticipate and meet them. We conduct routine and frequent safety checks, and staff are trained to ensure that residents' needs are met and their environments are safe and clutter-free.Resources and Support Services for Transition
The individual conducting the initial assessment remains the resident's first point of contact until a routine is established. We also have an Ambassador Resident who will introduce new residents to others and accompany them during meals. Managers and staff will introduce themselves and explain their roles. We provide special welcome gifts for new residents.Transportation Services
Transportation services are determined during the initial assessment. We do provide transportation depending on availability and the timing of appointments.Dining Experience
Our dining setting is homelike, accommodating up to 47 residents, with meal times at 8 am, Noon, and 5 pm. We are flexible and accommodating, allowing residents to pick and choose from the provided menu. We save trays for those who are out for appointments or running late.Process for Addressing Complaints or Issues
Residents can speak to any manager for grievances at any time. We have an open-door policy, and our phone numbers are available upon request. A representative from the Ombudsman office is also available, and this information is provided during the contract signing.Communication with Residents' Families
During COVID-19, we sent out weekly updates to families and encouraged them to call or visit anytime with concerns or issues. Families are immediately notified of any issues regarding residents' medications, falls, health, or care concerns.Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays depending on availability at a cost of $300 per day.Pet-Friendly Community
Absolutely, we are pet-friendly 😊.Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Residents can receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations within the community. We recently had a clinic for boosters and flu shots. We also encourage visits to the office for vaccinations, and our community Nurse is well-organized.Aging in Place
We encourage residents to age in place, as this is their home, and we assist in any way possible to keep them comfortable. Currently, we do not have a wait list and have availability. For pricing & availability call (866) 204-9238
