Overview of Staff Professionals and Training

All our care staff are governed by the WAC (Washington Administrator Code). They all undergo extensive background checks, initial training, and all ongoing training required by the state of Washington.

Safety Measures for Residents

Each resident will have a call pendant that they wear on their wrist/necklace that will call our staff. We provide 24/7 care.

Resources and Support Services

We have resources available as needed. Each resident/situation is unique and handled on a case-by-case basis.

Transportation Services

We assist in arranging transportation to doctor’s/specialist visits as/if needed.

Dining Experience

We offer a restaurant-style dining experience in a beautiful dining room that has 20ft ceilings, large windows, and a view to the North. All our menus are dietician approved and provided to each resident the day before so they can select what they want. We also have a resident council that meets once per month where menu/food suggestions can be brought up and added to the menus.

Handling Complaints or Issues

We will schedule/set up a care conference with administration with the family/resident.

Communication with Resident's Families

We have an open-door policy here where families can stop in/ask questions at any time. We communicate with families on changes in conditions, concerns that we may have, or if their needs are changing and we need to set up a care conference.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, absolutely!

Current Waitlist

We currently have a waitlist on our 1-bedroom units, but we do have some studios available. Our studios are some of the largest in town and come with a kitchenette area with cabinets, mini fridge, freezer, and a microwave. All units have their own private bathroom as well.

Vaccinations

Yes, we set up a flu and Covid vaccination clinic in our community once per year.

Aging in Place

Yes, we offer the continuity of aging in place with 45 assisted living apartments and a memory care wing with 12 rooms all under one roof. We have some residents that have very little care needs to some with extensive care needs. The care plans are specifically designed for each resident based on their needs at the time. We also have a great relationship with hospice providers who come directly to our community to provide end-of-life care.

Respite Care (Assisted Living)

We offer a respite care program that allows for a minimum 14 day or up to a 30 day stay. This allows potential residents to get a feel for/try out our community, participate in social activities, meet some existing residents, enjoy our meals, etc.

Continued Care

We offer both Assisted Living and Memory Care in our Community. Care is based on the individual, so you are only paying for what is needed. In addition, we will do a 14 re-assessment upon moving in to verify those needs once your loved one gets settled. If something changes in condition you as the point of contact or POA would be contacted, and the Executive Director and Nurse would connect with you in a care conference. Transparency and Communication is our goal. We want you to be able to be assured you can visit, and we will take care of our loved ones. We will give you that “peace of mind”.

Costs

In our Assisted Living Monthly cost consists of the Room and Board + Care fees based on the individual assessment. Room and Board does include the 3 meals per day, housekeep, laundry, basic cable, and activities. Our Memory Care is an All-Inclusive rate.

Process

Tour- Assessment- Move IN

We can set up an in person or virtual tour any time. Please feel free to reach out and I can help arrange a time that works for you and your family.

Assessment- Our nurse would review and connect with the Primary Care Physician, obtain information on the Plan of Care, and also progress notes from the Rehab if applicable.

Once Assessment has been completed, we would provide you with the Total cost including Care. Next steps after that would be you deciding financial paperwork date. We can use DocuSign for this process to make it easier. Once the information and paperwork is obtained and payment has been received you can then move in furniture.
