Types of Professionals on Staff and Their Training

We have a diverse team of professionals, including an Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Dietary Manager, Recreation Therapy Director, and two Clinical Managers (one RN and one LPN). Our caregivers, known as Resident Aides, are trained to provide medication and personal care.

Measures to Ensure Safety and Well-Being of Residents

We assess all new admissions to ensure they are placed in the appropriate care setting. We create individualized service plans that address safety checks and other care needs specific to each resident.

Resources or Support Services for Transitioning Residents

Our staff provides support to new residents as they get acquainted with their new environment. We strive to make the transition smooth and comfortable for everyone.

Transportation Services

We only offer transportation for off-campus activities. We do not provide transportation for appointments.

Dining Experience

Dining is served individually in our dining rooms, mimicking a restaurant experience. We offer multiple food choices, and an always-available menu for residents who prefer different options. Meals are prepared in our main kitchen in both the legacy building and the cottages.

Process for Addressing Resident Complaints

Residents can report complaints to any staff member, who will then fill out a concern form for management to address. Alternatively, staff can handle and resolve issues in real-time if possible.

Communication with Residents' Families

Families are provided with direct emails and contact numbers. We communicate any changes or incidents, such as falls or medical issues, and hold care conferences every six months.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays at a cost of $190 per day in the legacy building and $275 per day in the cottages.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Pets are allowed to visit but cannot stay permanently.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations in our community. Consent forms are typically distributed in late summer or early fall.

Aging in Place

Our goal is to allow residents to age in place. However, if care needs or behavioral issues exceed what our Assisted Living Facility can handle, we offer skilled nursing care. We have a small waitlist for our cottages and immediate openings in our legacy building.
