Types of Professionals on Our Staff
We have the following professionals on our team: certified nursing assistants, licensed vocational nurses, registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, wound care nurses, wound care providers, medical physicians, medicine aides, and a restorative care team. All these professionals are required to pass and obtain state certifications and/or licenses to practice.Safety and Well-being Measures for Residents
The memory care unit is secured, meaning there is only one way in and one way out of the unit. In addition, there is a special code staff uses to enter/exit the unit, ensuring the residents are safe. For the general population, residents have more freedom, but if there are concerns they might elope, we provide them with a wander-guard. This bracelet-type device sounds at the main exits of the facility.Support Services for Transition Into the Community
Near the time of discharge, our social worker works with the family of the resident to ensure all necessary equipment is ordered and in place at their home for a safe discharge.Transportation Services for Residents
We provide transportation services for residents, including doctor’s appointments and dialysis.Dining Experience
We offer three meals daily: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Residents can choose to eat in the dining hall or their room, with alternatives available if they dislike the main option. We accommodate special diets, including low sodium or mechanical soft.Process for Addressing Resident Complaints
If a resident or family member has a complaint, we file a grievance. The grievance is given to the social worker, and an action plan is created to correct the issue.Cost of Living
The daily room rate for a semiprivate room is $182.00 per day, and for a private room, it is $252.00 per day.Communication Policy with Residents' Families
We hold care plan meetings that families can attend in-person or via phone. This includes input from the social worker, director of nursing/assistant director of nursing, therapy team, and other relevant departments, where questions and concerns can be addressed.Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays, which can be paid by insurance or a hospice company. Private pay is also an option, with rates of $182.00 for semiprivate and $252.00 for private rooms.Pet-Friendly Community
