Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our facility is staffed with a diverse range of professionals including CNA’s, med-techs, LPN/RN, a social worker, and an activities director. Each staff member undergoes rigorous training specific to their role, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide the highest level of care and support to our residents.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have implemented several measures including a secured memory neighborhood for residents with dementia/Alzheimer’s and a call bell system for immediate assistance.
Resources and Support for New Residents
New residents are introduced to key personnel including the administrator of both the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Personal Care (PC), social worker, activities director, dietician, and spiritual advisor. Physical Therapy (PT)/Occupational Therapy (OT) services are also available if needed.
Transportation Services
Our activities department offers transportation for outings, although we do not provide transportation for appointments.
Dining Experience
Mercer features two dining rooms where we encourage all residents to eat their meals, fostering a very social atmosphere. Food is prepared onsite, with alternative options available for every meal.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can report complaints or issues anonymously or they can choose to speak directly with the administrator.

Communication with Residents' Families
Upon admission, we establish approved family contacts and their preferred methods of communication to keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being.

Pet-Friendly Policy
Our community is pet-friendly for visitation, but we do not accommodate pets full-time.
Waitlist Information
Currently, there is no waitlist for general assisted living, though there may be a waitlist for our memory care services.

Residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.
