LPN Staff

We have 2 LPN's on staff. However, we are not skilled nursing level of care, and they can only assess.

Resident Care Assistants

We also have Resident Care Assistants who give the residents their medications and provide daily care. They all have to complete yearly training throughout the year to meet the Executive Office of Elder Care who governs assisted living communities, as well as additional Alzheimer's/Dementia Training per our requirements as a community.

Pendant System

We have a pendant system. Each resident is issued a pendant upon moving into our community that gives us the ability to respond to emergencies when they press it. Along with three times a day daily checks to ensure all is well.

Resident Escorts and Introductions

We offer escorts and introductions to our current residents.

Transportation

We own our own van and will provide transportation for residents. This will be explained in detail with you.

Concerns and Ombudsman

If there is an issue or concern, they are to let our Executive Director know of the concern. We also have an Ombudsman from the Executive Office of Elder Affairs who visits our community and talks with residents to ensure all is well.

Costs and PACE Programs

The cost is based on finances, and we would need to have a conversation as we also contract with the PACE programs that residents need to qualify for based on their income.

Communication and Care Plan Reviews

We are an assisted living level of care, so we will communicate if we see changes or if an incident or accident occurs. We also review the care plan for the resident according to our schedule.

Respite and Memory Care Costs

We offer Respite for 30 days at $175 per day, payable on move-in and non-refundable should they leave earlier than 30 days. Memory Care is $200 per day.

Pet Policy

We do have some residents that have cats, and we are currently only taking them on a case-by-case basis at this time.

Waiting List

We do not have a waiting list for our Traditional assisted living, but we do for our Memory Care neighborhood.

Health Clinics

We typically do COVID and flu clinics in our community each year.

Aging in Place

Our hope is that residents can age in place, but some medical issues require them to move to the next level of care, which would be a nursing home/skilled level.

About Prosper at Monastery Heights

Prosper at Monastery Heights is an independent/assisted living community that also offers memory care. We have many residents that join our community and start off completely independent and as they decline have the option to move into our memory care unit to save the hassle of completely moving to a new community. I have included a copy of our brochure to give you and your family a little background on our community and what we have to offer.

Independent/Assisted Living

Our residents that live in our independent/assisted living are able to leave whenever they want. We have a sign out sheet at the front desk that they would sign in and out on, this way we know when they are not in the building.

In-Person Tours

We are open to in person tours at this time if you are interested in coming into our community and taking a look around. Included in rent are all utilities, three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, weekly laundering of linens and towels, daily activities, 24 hour trained staff, and an emergency response system. Each resident receives a life pendent for emergency purposes and keys for their private apartment, mailbox, and the front/back door of the building.
