Overview of Professional Staff and Training

We have a diverse team including a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and NAs, all certified or in the process of licensure. While we do not offer formal in-house training, professionals are sent to local colleges or Health Systems Inc. for classes. For those needing additional support, we provide floor training through coaching, explanation, and detailed observation.

Resident Safety and Well-being Measures

Our facility ensures resident safety through automatically locked doors and adherence to government laws protecting residents' rights. All staff, including myself, follow policies and procedures to treat every resident with dignity, respect, and ensure a safe living environment.

Transition Support Services

We aid residents' transition through community activities, staff engagement, and encouraging family presence.

Transportation Services

In-house transportation is available for medical appointments. While we do not provide leisure transportation, arrangements with non-emergent transport companies can be made for independent outings.

Dining Experience

Residents are offered state-provided meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with the option of an alternative menu to cater to personal preferences.

Handling Complaints and Issues

Complaints are addressed based on their nature, with immediate issues handled directly and serious concerns involving physical harm reported to the state for investigation.

Cost of Living

Living costs vary, with private rooms at $227 per day and semi-private rooms at $211 per day. Short-term stays are available at the same rates.

Communication with Residents' Families

Emergency contacts are notified of significant events, including falls, medication changes, or accidents within the facility.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed to visit under certain restrictions, excluding dining areas, and must have up-to-date records without overnight stays.

Vaccination Policy

COVID and flu vaccinations are offered but not mandatory, respecting residents' rights and choices.

Aging in Place

Our facility is not assisted living but offers long-term care, allowing residents to stay until end-of-life. Costs and availability for private and semi-private rooms vary, with specific rates for those requiring therapy depending on insurance and therapy needs.
