Community Details

Overview of Staff and Training
Our caregivers undergo individual PCA orientation training at the start of their employment. Thereafter, monthly staff trainings as well as annual continuing education training is required (for example, annual dementia training). Re-training or additional training can be given at any time throughout their employment or at their annual evaluation. All trainings are conducted by a licensed nurse.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Each resident is provided an individual pendant to page staff for assistance or in the event of an emergency, like a fall. Safety/wellness checks are conducted each shift and as needed. Emergency preparedness resource manuals are located at each of the nursing stations in the case of a fire, weather, hospitalization emergency, etc. Fire drills are conducted so that staff and residents know where and how to evacuate.
Transition Support Services
In addition to our caregivers, Peaceful Lodge has a dedicated administration team that gets to know new residents in order to facilitate favorite activities that the resident will want to attend. We also work with Associated Clinic of Psychology to set up psychotherapy visits. In addition, we have an onsite therapist staff member who can provide additional 1:1 professional support to find methods and other strategies to deescalate depressive symptoms related to their transition into our community. These interventions provided by staff and therapist are cognitive behavioral therapy services.
Transportation Services
We do not have our own Peaceful Lodge transportation, but will work with any insurance approved transportation to coordinate and arrange rides to both medical and non-medical appointments.
Dining Experience
We provide 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and at least 2 snacks. We can accommodate to a low-sodium or diabetic diet. We also serve 2 menus: western diet & an Southeast Asian diet as we do have a growing community of Southeast Asian residents. Assisted living residents can dine in our dining hall or have a room tray delivered. Memory care residents have their own dining hall or can also have a room tray delivered. Menus are posted in the dining hall and are also available at the front desk.
Resident Complaints and Issues
A copy of Peaceful Lodge’s grievance/complaint form is provided upon move in and is available from the Housing Director or Campus Director. Any/all grievances or complaints can also be made to the staff verbally who will then file the complaint electronically to which Peaceful Lodge administration will follow up.
Cost of Living
The cost of room and board as of 7/1/23 is $1135/month. For cares, we accept CADI, EW and BI waivers or have separate private pay packages.
Communication with Residents' Families
Our administrative and clinical team is available at any time to speak to family members about any concerns they may have. This includes having over-the-phone, virtual or in person care conferences with family and other care team members to discuss updates and changes in care plan for the resident's continued care.
Short-term or Respite Stays
No, we only offer long-term stays.
Pet-Friendly Community
Only if there is a doctor's order for a cat or dog, our clinical team will review. There are pet deposit fees associated.
Availability
We currently have a waitlist for those under 55 and memory care, but we do have availability in our brand new assisted living wing.
Appreciation for Our Elders and People with Special Needs
At Peaceful Lodge, we have a deep appreciation for our elders and people with special needs in the community—and for the wisdom, courage, and strength they have acquired during the course of life’s journeys. We wish to honor and support all of our residents by providing highly skilled medical care, loving and supportive staff, and a facility designed to meet the needs and preferences of our residents.
