INDEPENDENT LIVING

Park Summit offers an array of apartment styles, sizes, and prices unlike any other retirement community. In order to really appreciate and experience the warm and inviting atmosphere that Park Summit has to offer, you need to come in and have a look around, stay for lunch/dinner, or stay for a complimentary three-day stay to see what Park Summit is all about.

ASSISTED LIVING

Park Summit's assisted living residents receive thoughtful assistance from caregivers who really care. Trained caregivers provide welcome companionship and assistance with medication management, bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility—as well as careful monitoring to ensure you are enjoying a healthy, vital lifestyle. For our residents with more complex medical needs or health challenges, Skilled Nursing services provide 24-hour supervision and assistance.

A one-time, non-refundable community fee is required to reserve an apartment.

For those requiring a higher level of assistance, an additional fee is charged based on the level of support services provided to the resident. The level of care required is determined by an initial assessment at the time of move-in and again after 30 days at the community. Assessments are also done on a semi-annual basis or more often if needed.

LEVELS OF CARE

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Simple ........................................................................... $500

Nine or fewer daily medications administered one or two times daily.

Complex ........................................................................ $750

Nine or more daily medications administered three or more times a day, or administration of Accuchecks, Injections, Nebulizer treatments, PT INRs, storage of non-packaged medications, etc.

Our staff is very professional and depending on the department will determine what type of training they go through.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We are a secure building with 24-hour security.

Resources and Support Services

Depending on what help you need we have people we can refer you to that can help with transition as well as we are with you the entire step.

Transportation Services

We offer a 5-mile radius for personal errands or physician appointments and 10 miles for physicians on Wednesday.

Dining Experience

Both independent and assisted living have dining rooms with sit-down meals. Restaurant style.

Resident Complaints and Issues

We have a resident service manager that can help with this or managers in the department.

Cost of Living

This would depend on what size or type of apartment you choose and if you are looking for independent or assisted living.

Communication with Resident's Families

Our policy on communication with resident's families is to keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer respite stay and can do a short term lease for independent living only. The cost of this also depends on the unit.

Our Accommodations

We offer spacious apartments with a variety of styles to fit your needs each with; balcony or terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, and an emergency pull cords answered 24-hour, hurricane impact windows and doors. Some units have full size washer and dryers.

Amenities and Services

We have a generator, restaurant style dining, fun activities from clubs, lectures, arts and crafts, and entertainment. Even Happy Hour on Friday’s! There is something for everyone.
