Overview of Professionals and Training

The Executive Director has been with Pacifica for over 30 years. Our Health Service Director leads a team of caregivers, med techs, and two nurses. We also have a maintenance team, housekeeping, activities department, and an amazing kitchen staff led by our chef. All staff are trained according to licensing requirements as well as through floor training.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have 24/7 on-site staff. As a dedicated Memory Care community, we have a secured gated area to prevent wandering, ensuring the safety of our residents.

Resources and Support for Transition

We’ve designed our community to meet the diverse needs of our residents, providing a warm environment with staff trained to assist during the transition period. Each resident has a personalized care plan in place before moving in to ensure individual care needs are met.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services with an accompanying caregiver for assistance during appointments, available at the rate of $75 per hour.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience features a 5-week rotation menu prepared by our on-site chefs and approved by a licensed dietitian, specifically designed for memory care. Meals are served in a family-style setting by our care staff.

Complaint and Issue Resolution

Residents and families can address concerns with the cottage lead assigned to each cottage. Cottage leads report to the LVN nursing staff, who work side by side to address any issues. Our Health Service Director and Executive Director are also available to assist at any time.

Family Communication Policy

We pride ourselves on excellent communication with families. Our on-site LVN nurses, care staff, and managers are always available to meet the needs of residents' families.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Respite care is available for a minimum stay of 14 days at a cost of $250 per day.

Pet-Friendly Community

We are a pet-friendly community and follow specific guidelines for pet inclusion.

Current Availability

We currently have availability for both private and semi-private rooms, with no waitlist at this time.

Vaccination Services

While we do not provide COVID-19 vaccinations, our nursing department offers flu vaccinations, requiring completed consent forms during flu season each year for our residents.

Aging in Place

Our community has a hospice waiver, enabling us to provide care for residents from the early stages of dementia until the end of life, covering all needs in between.
