Do you all help new residents move into the community?

Yes, it is a complete team effort. Although we do not physically move residents from home to our community, every department head is included in the process. We also have Resident Ambassadors who welcome new residents and look out for them during their first few weeks.

Does the community have transportation available? What can it be used for, and are there additional charges?

Transportation, including wheelchair transportation, is available for residents 5 days a week and some weekends on special occasions, like a wedding or a local summer concert event. It is complementary within 10 miles of the community for individual residents and free of charge regardless of distance for groups of residents.

Does your facility allow pets? If so, are there any restrictions?

Yes we do! There are no restrictions other than the resident has to be able to properly care for the pet whether they care for it themselves or hire help to care for the pet, we don’t mind either way. Birds are strongly discouraged only because they are a state regulation nightmare when they die. Per state regs you have to freeze dry and box the bird to be send for disease testing. I haven’t had a pet as a bird in a community for many years, but the last one “flew away” 😊 We do not currently have a waitlist.
