Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

Only on studio apartments. And private memory care apartments. All others we have a couple openings.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Our care staff must go through a certification process through the state of Arizona. Medications techs also go through that and more onboarding. The others have monthly in services to keep up to date on how to give the best care.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

Our residents have pendants that they wear and can push at any time. We also do 2–4-hour checks on them to make sure they are safe. More if needed on an individual basis. Our building is also secured/locked.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We have an ambassador program where a current resident is their built-in friend before they move in and helps them with the transition. Also, our staff roll out the red carpet for our new ones as well. Whatever the individual person needs.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Yes, we do. We offer a 10-mile radius. 4 transports a month but we also go on trips and shopping as a group.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have a beautiful dining room. It is open from 7AM-6PM. You can come at any time to get something to eat. It is a restaurant, so you are served. Also, a full menu of different options to choose from.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

Our executive director is available for any complaints or issues. We also have a formal grievance policy to escalate any concerns.

What is the cost of living in your community?

Attached are the prices for Orchard Pointe. It mainly depends on the size of apartment and what care needs someone might need.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

We communicate with families as often as they would like. Some like to be very involved while others just for emergencies. We send out a weekly newsletter with information. The monthly activity calendar and weekly menu are also sent out. You can also have as much communication with the management team as you need. We are here to serve.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

Yes, we do. I’ll attach that info to this email as well.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes, we love pets! There is a one-time $500 deposit, and the resident or family has to make sure the animal is cared for.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes, they can. We don’t mandate it but we do hold clinics once a year around September or October.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, we have Assisted Living and Memory Care. With the help of hospice, we are able to care for someone as long as needed.

Our Community's Offerings

Our Activity Director, Jamie does an amazing job at incorporating a wide range of activities into her program, bases them on individual resident interests and is an expert at helping our residents find the joy in each day. Our programs and staff on hand allow our residents to live independently knowing they have the ability to add help when they need it – without having to move again. Our levels of care are personalized service plans that are only added when you need it, many of our residents lead a very active lifestyle and enjoy all the benefits of the housekeeping, laundry and dining services included in the base cost of our apartments.

We also have a special “resident ambassador” program – led by a fantastic group of long-term residents of our community. They take the time to meet every new resident that moves in and help them meet other residents and find activity groups that fit their interests.
