Overview of Staff and Training

Our facility is staffed with a range of professionals including caretakers, med techs, an LVN nurse, an Executive Chef, an Executive Director, an Activities Director, and several other directors. We conduct monthly trainings, and our nurse operates under a licensed RN delegate license. The Executive Director is state-licensed and maintains this through continuous education units (CEUs) and trainings provided by our corporate company, Northstar Senior Living.

Safety and Well-being Measures

For the safety of our residents, we have a concierge at the front desk of the assisted living side from Monday to Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM. After 5 PM, the doors lock and entry is controlled by a doorbell system managed by care staff. Our memory care area is fully secure, requiring a code for entry and exit.

Transition Support Services

We offer support services to help residents transition into the community, understanding that it can be a challenging period. Our staff provides extra attention during the initial two-week period, and I personally check in on new residents to ensure their comfort.

Transportation Services

Our community provides transportation services within a 10-mile radius for residents.

Dining Experience

We offer restaurant-style dining where orders are taken at the table. There is a daily special as well as alternate options for those with different preferences. We also host a monthly food council to address any dining suggestions or concerns.

Resident Complaints and Issues

Residents can fill out grievance forms available with the concierge. Our Executive Director has an open-door policy and is keen to address and resolve any issues. As a community liaison, I am also available almost 24/7 to assist with any concerns.

Cost of Living

A cost sheet is provided for reference, with discounts and concessions available for residents.

Communication with Residents' Families

We maintain constant communication with residents' families. As a liaison, I am available to address concerns and provide updates on residents' activities and well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays with a 30-day minimum at a rate of $175 per day for the assisted living side.

Pet-Friendly Community

We are a pet-friendly community and welcome fur babies.

Waitlist Information

There is no waitlist for our community, although availability may depend on room size.

Vaccinations

Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community, typically during our annual vaccine clinic in October.

Aging in Place

Our community supports aging in place, providing various resources to ensure residents can stay in their familiar environment as they age.
