An adjustment is made to the monthly rent and care charges annually. Prices subject to change. The Community Fee is a one-time payment for persons planning on moving in within approximately 30 days. Resident is asked to pay prorated monthly rent and damage deposit that equals the monthly rent upon move-in. Overview of Staff and Training
In our Assisted Living facility, we employ a Licensed Nurse, 2 Health Services Directors, 2 Resident Care Coordinators, Licensed Med Techs, and Certified Nursing Assistants. We exceed the state of Washington's training requirements by offering our own caregiver training classes on-site. This includes certification for nursing assistants, med techs, and specializations in mental health and behavioral care. Growing our own caregivers allows us to maintain high standards and accountability.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents through a hands-on approach to care, making sure they feel loved and valued. We conduct daily checks on our residents and provide a variety of activities and entertainment. Please refer to the attached newsletter and calendars for more details.
Transitioning into the Community
Orchard Crest aids new residents in transitioning into the community with a resident ambassador program, welcome parties, and introductions to fellow residents who assist with acclimation.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation for medical appointments within the Valley on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For appointments outside this area, we assist residents in arranging alternative transportation options.
Dining Experience
Our community offers three meals a day plus snacks in Assisted Living, and one meal per day in Independent Living with the option to purchase additional meals. Our chef, with experience from Disneyland and his own restaurant, ensures a varied and flexible menu.
Addressing Resident Complaints
Residents can address care-related complaints to our Health Services Director or Resident Care Coordinator, and other concerns through comment cards or directly to staff. We have a local ombudsman for unresolved issues.
Cost of Living
The cost of living varies based on apartment size and required care. Assisted Living and Light Assisted Living costs include rent plus care on an a la carte basis. Additional costs may apply for telephone, internet, and cable upgrades.
Communication with Residents' Families
We communicate with designated family members, primarily through the chosen main point of contact, and keep them informed about their loved ones' well-being.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do not offer short-term or respite stays at Orchard Crest, but we can provide a list of local resources that do.
Pet-Friendly Community
We welcome small dogs and cats, provided the resident can care for their pet independently and adhere to our pet policy.

Availability and waitlist status vary by the level of care required. Please contact us for specific information.
Vaccination Services
We offer on-site covid and flu vaccinations and are working to provide additional vaccines in the near future.
Aging in Place
Residents can often age in place with our ability to provide a range of care services, including licensing independent living apartments for assisted living services. However, we cannot accommodate certain medical conditions that require 24-hour nurse presence.
