Overview of Our Staff and Training

Our staff includes Caregivers, certified med-techs, and a supervising nurse. All staff members undergo regular training as mandated by DSS – Community Care Licensing. Additionally, because we specialize in memory care, our staff receives extra training focusing specifically on Memory care.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents through several measures such as supervision, secured doors and gates, around-the-clock resident checks, and other methods that we can discuss during a tour.

Support Services for Transition

Our experienced staff assists new residents in transitioning by keeping them engaged with other residents, which aids in forming bonds and becoming acclimated to the community.

Transportation Services

While we do not offer in-house transportation, we collaborate with transport services to help coordinate residents' transportation needs.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience features open concept seating, allowing residents to choose their dining partners. Our Dining Director focuses on providing delicious and healthy meals, accommodating special dietary needs.

Complaint or Issue Resolution

Management at Orangeburg Memory Care practices an open-door policy, encouraging residents and family members to express any concerns. All Residential Care Communities are governed by the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division.

Cost of Living

Our Shared Room costs $3995.00 plus Level of Care, while Private Rooms cost $5975 plus Level of Care. A detailed price list is attached for your review.

Communication with Families

We utilize Life Loop to keep families updated with information and photos of residents and community activities. Our nurse, Janine, communicates with families and physicians regarding any changes in residents' conditions.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite services with a required minimum stay of 30 days at a rate of $300 per day.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed to visit; however, they cannot live on the premises due to the specialized memory care environment.

Current Availability

We currently have a couple of units available and do not have a waitlist.

Vaccination Services

Our nurse collaborates with the pharmacy to provide Covid and flu vaccinations as needed.

Aging in Place

We offer programs and services that enable residents to age in place, supporting their physical and emotional well-being in a secure and familiar environment.
