Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

Yes, we have a waiting list, but it will depend on what home style you are interested in (villas/apts). The largest units have the longest waiting lists.

Could you share pricing and any other general information?

Yes, my computer is not allowing me to access them but I will try again and get those to you by Monday if not sooner.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

We have a licensed home administrator/executive director, directors in nursing, environmental services, human resources, culinary, marketing, social services, 3 nurse managers, multiple activity for each level of care. We contract with Medical Director, nurse practitioner, therapy services, we also have our own home health, palliative care and hospices. Every Ohio Living employee requires yearly training, our ED does quarterly employee meetings, and we have a full staff trainer who specializes in nursing training. We are supported by our corporate office staff out of Columbus.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

We have 24-hour security on our campus, multiple cameras, we have a full-time resident services coordinator that helps residents with potential scams along with regular in services for them.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

Yes, there are many steps in each area of living to assist with transition. They key is working with the resident and their families to learn more about each other to help us get to know what their potential needs may be.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Yes, we have a 12-passenger bus and a car that we use on FREE bus shuttle days (Mon-Wed). This is for residents that do not need companionship, or they must bring someone with them. They have lots of outings through the year.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We call it "Cook To Order" which is restaurant style. There is a daily menu and specials.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

They can talk with our Executive Director, Social Worker or our corporate office.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families?

I'm not sure what this question means in regard to a policy. We communicate with family members that we have been given permission to talk to in regard to health concerns. We also have very independent residents who prefer they are the point of contact.

How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

In the higher levels of care, you can and talk to them, email, come in or attend a care conference in person or by phone.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays?

If we have an open room and none of our residents are in need.

How much does this cost?

It will depend on what level of care you are referring to since we have all levels of care.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes

Are residents able to age in place?

As long as they are safe for themselves and to others. They can add more services in and then at some point they might need a higher level of care.
