Assisted Living and Memory Care Services

The senior living community offers both assisted living and memory care services to cater to the diverse needs of its residents. The facility provides a supportive environment for those who require assistance with daily activities as well as specialized care for individuals with memory-related conditions.

Accommodation Options

Residents have a choice between studio and one-bedroom apartments, with a couple of each currently available. These living spaces are designed to offer comfort and convenience to the residents.

Respite Care

The community offers respite care or short-term stays based on availability. A minimum stay of 30 days is required for respite care services, providing temporary relief for caregivers and a change of environment for the individual in need.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed within the community as long as the resident can take care of their own pet. This policy helps in maintaining the comfort and companionship that pets provide to their owners.

Transportation Services

The facility provides transportation services for its residents, which includes a van that can take them to various appointments and errands such as visits to the bank or doctor's offices.

Staffing and Training

The community is staffed with qualified personnel, including one LPN for assisted living and a wellness director for memory care. Additionally, there are med techs and CNAs whose schedules vary. All nursing assistants are certified and receive on-site training to align with the community's policies and procedures.

Safety Measures

For safety, residents have the option to use pendants. These devices ensure that help is readily available in case of an emergency, providing peace of mind for both residents and their families.

Addressing Complaints

When a resident has a complaint, the process begins with the LPN in charge of the staff. The LPN investigates the issue and, based on the findings, may reassign staff or find a new solution to address the complaint effectively.

Medical Services

Visiting nurse practitioners (NPs) are available to provide medical care within the community. Residents have the choice to continue with their own primary care providers or to utilize the on-site services for convenience.

Family Communication

Communication with families is handled through various means depending on the nature of the information. For events and community updates, emails are sent out with invitations and details. Nursing-related communication is conducted one-on-one between the nursing staff and family members. Additionally, there is a portal available for family members to check on any nursing changes regarding their loved ones.
