Staff and Training

Our nurse trains our care staff. They also have ongoing monthly/quarterly training by outside medical professionals.

Safety and Well-being Measures

The care staff's training encompasses the safety and well-being of our residents. Additionally, the non-care staff have training via online training modules that cover topics such as what to look for in elder abuse cases and how to reduce the spread of illness. We also conduct emergency drills as a community, i.e., fire drills.

Transition Support Services

We have engaged residents who take the responsibility to help transition a new resident very seriously - they've been through it and understand how it can be a challenge for some.

Transportation Services

Yes, we have a sedan and a bus that is wheelchair compatible within a 10-mile radius. We use our bus for community outings as seen in the Activity Calendar that was emailed previously - excursions, museums, shopping, etc.

Dining Experience

Resident Complaints and Issues

We have a monthly Residents Council Meeting (notes from the meeting(s) are logged). The community directors are on-site and have an open door policy as well as a suggestion/complaint box in the dining room.

Communication with Residents' Families

The communication process is created at the time of the Resident Agreement signing - i.e., text, call, email, and what is the family contact tree.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer short-term or respite stays.

Pet-Friendly Community
