Types of Care Offered

The senior living community offers a variety of care options to cater to the diverse needs of its residents. These include:

• Nursing Home Care
• Skilled Nursing
• Rehabilitation Services

Availability

Currently, there is no waitlist for joining the community, allowing for immediate availability for new residents.

Respite Care

Respite care services are available with a minimum stay of five nights. Coverage for respite care may be provided by the resident's insurance.

Aging in Place

The community does not typically offer aging in place. Relocation may be necessary if a resident requires a higher level of care than what is provided.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in the facility provided they have all the required vaccinations. Family members can bring any animal as long as it is reasonable and not outrageous.

Moving Assistance

Staff are available to help new residents move their belongings into the community. Due to room sizes, residents are encouraged to bring essential items such as clothes and small personal belongings.

Transportation Services

The community provides transportation for medical appointments through ambulance services. Outings and other transportation needs are typically arranged by the resident's family.

Dining Experience

A dietitian is on staff to ensure nutritional needs are met. Residents have the option to order food from external services like DoorDash or have family members bring meals. Alternative dining options are available for those with dietary restrictions or allergies.

Staffing

The community is staffed with a range of professionals to provide comprehensive care, including:

• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Nurses
• Therapists
• Social Workers
• Admissions and Discharge Planners
• Administrators
• Director of Nursing (DON)

Safety Features

For resident safety, the facility is equipped with door locks to prevent unsupervised exits. Additional safety measures may be in place as needed.

Vaccinations

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are available to residents within the community.

Handling Complaints

If a resident has a complaint, they can report it to the department head, the DON, the administrator, or the nurse supervisor. The management team conducts daily rounds to address any concerns directly with residents.

Family Communication

In the event of a serious complaint or issue, the Director of Nursing or the supervising nurse will communicate directly with the resident's family to resolve the matter.
