Overview of Our Reputation
Please see my responses below in red. I would also add that Northpoint Village of Utica has upheld a great reputation in the Industry for the past 18 years. This is mainly due to the fact that it is family owned and operated and every resident that walks in the door is automatically treated like family. Have a wonderful weekend.
Types of Professionals on Our Staff
This is a family owned and operated Community. We have a 1% turnover rate. Staff have been here the average of 10 years to 18 years.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Even though this is an Independent Community, we do a wellness safety check on every resident every morning. Our dining room staff also reports of anyone that is unusually not present for meals as well.
Resources and Support Services
We do not have a program so to speak to transition, however all of our staff do everything to ensure a very warm "family" welcome.

Dining Experience
Our dining experience is restaurant style, they can choose the special of the day or they can choose from the many other options offered. I have been told from many residents that they feel as though they are treated like royalty. Our food is also cooked fresh.
Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues
They would need to speak to me, the Executive Director, and 10 out of 10 times, the issue is resolved.
Communication with Residents’ Families
We send out emails often on communication that the families and residents would need to know. This is an Independent Living so the residents speak to their families on a daily basis.

We do not offer respite care
Pet-Friendly Community
We are a very pet friendly Community, we even have our own pet mascot.
Waitlist Status
Since we have so many room size options, we currently do not have a waiting list.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Yes we do.
Aging in Place
Yes, we are an Independent Living Community with enhanced assisted care should they need total care all the way down to Hospice care.
