Overview of Staff and Training

We have a skilled team comprised of nurses and caregivers dedicated to the well-being of our residents. Sharon Tenuta, our Director of Nursing, conducts regular dementia training for our staff. Additionally, we have our activity department, culinary team, maintenance team, and housekeeping team, each managed by a department manager.

Measures for Ensuring Resident Safety and Well-being

To ensure the safety of our residents, we have installed motion sensors in their rooms, which activate alarms at the resident service desk whenever movement is detected at night. Our staff promptly checks on the resident in these instances. We also conduct hourly checks on each resident.

Support Services for Transitioning into the Community

We provide substantial support to aid residents' transition into the community. Our Nursing Director, Sharon, spends a significant amount of time with new residents, conducting assessments and ensuring a smooth transition.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services for residents, although the availability depends on the destination.

Dining Experience

Our culinary team prepares meals mostly from scratch. While a menu is posted for the residents, alternative options are available if there is something on the menu they do not prefer.

Process for Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues

If a resident has a complaint or an issue, they can notify any of us, and we will ensure follow-up actions are taken by the appropriate department to address and resolve the matter.

Communication with Residents' Families

Family members are given direct access to Sharon Tenuta and Jennifer Pasternak via cell phone and can call or text them anytime with questions or concerns. Sharon maintains regular updates with families regarding their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays, with costs ranging from $385 to $515 per day, depending on the level of care required.

Pet-friendly Community

We are a pet-friendly community, although we do not currently have any resident pets.

COVID and Flu Vaccinations

Residents are able to receive COVID and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Our goal is to allow residents to age in place, and we currently have some availability for new residents.
