Overview of Staff and Training

We have a diverse team that includes a Registered Nurse, 2 LPNs, Med Techs, Charges, and Resident Wellness Advisors. Our Medical Director, Dr. Jakubek, and his Nurse Practitioner, Holly, visit our facility twice a week. We also have a monthly visiting podiatrist and dentist, perform labs, offer a mobile x-ray service, and have a beautician on Wednesdays. Our team comprises 10 managers, one for each department, with a manager always on duty during weekends.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We provide in-house Physical, Speech, and Occupational therapy. Regular "Fall Clinics," safety clinics for both staff and residents, and monthly staff skills clinics are held. Our staff undergoes monthly state-required testing and yearly CPR testing, and we conduct monthly fire drills.

Support for Residents' Transition

We offer a 360 VIP program, where a manager welcomes and supports new residents for a month, checking in daily and reporting to families. Our 4 activities staff members engage residents daily and promote 7-day-a-week activities.

Transportation Services

A community bus takes residents shopping on Tuesdays, out to lunch on Wednesdays, and for drives on Friday afternoons. If the bus is unavailable for appointments, our wellness staff will arrange transportation through Westmoreland Go.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience features homemade meals daily, with open breakfast seating (7-9 AM) and two lunch (11:00 AM and 12:30 PM) and dinner (4:00 PM and 5:30 PM) seatings. Breakfast is served restaurant-style, and lunch includes homemade soup, two meal choices, and dessert. Dinner offers a starter, two main choices, and dessert. Alternate options include a grilled cheese, deli sandwich, chef salad, or cottage cheese and fruit tray.

Resident Complaint Process

We adhere to a golden standard pendant program, allowing residents to request assistance by pushing their pendant. Average response times are available on our website. Residents and families can access contact details for all departments to address issues immediately.

Cost of Living

Our current rates were shared in a previous email, but I am happy to attach another current rate sheet.

Communication with Families

Families can call wellness for updates on their loved ones' health. Information is disclosed if they are the POA.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer a one-month respite stay. Due to limited availability, a minimum of one month is required, and the cost is available on our rate sheet.

Pet-Friendly Policy

We are a pet-friendly community and have a house dog, Leo.

Waitlist Status

Currently, we have 3 available rooms and a census of 97 residents.

Vaccination Availability

A FLU/COVID clinic is scheduled for September 30th, partnering with Giant Eagle, for residents and staff.

Aging in Place

We support aging in place, offering Senior Living, Life Stories (Memory Care), and Bridges (Level 5 skilled care).
