Do we have a waitlist?

No mam, at the moment we do not have a waitlist but our availability fluctuates, so there is no way to tell whether we will have a waitlist in the future.

Could you share pricing and any other general information?

I have attached to this email our all-inclusive pricing for our Assisted Living, Assisted Living Plus and Memory Care houses. These prices can fluctuate based on the cost of living. Usually this happens once a year.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo in your facility?

We employ caregivers who are Universal Care Trained and also work under a Med-tech. We do have a continuum of care through our 3rd party vendors, which include; doctors, nurses, home health, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, hospice services, mobile x-ray, mobile lab, mobile dental and a podiatrist. All these professionals come to our community to meet the needs of our residents and to prevent them from having to leave the community to go to doctors’ appointments. Our Executive Director has 24/7 access to these services in the event of any illnesses or emergencies.

Do you offer transportation services to residents?

We have one wheelchair accessible bus for a community of 90-residents, therefore, it is hard for us to make individual trips to doctors appointments, etc. However, if given enough notice and an activity is not using the bus, we can make an exception on an as needed basis.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have a home kitchen in each of our houses. Our menu is designed by a dietician and our caregivers cook hot meals in front of our residents, so they can enjoy the cooking process and smells. The food is then served directly from the stove to the resident plates and given to them. If for some reason a resident does not like a menu item, we have an “always available” menu for them to choose an alternative meal from. We eat at 8am, Noon and 5pm. We also always have cookies and fruit available to our residents for snacks.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or issue, they want addressed?

We ask that you bring all issues/complaints to our Executive Director. You have direct access to her 24/7. Our goal is your satisfaction and we understand we are not perfect and things will happen. We want to work in tandem with you to avail any concerns and to right any wrongs.

What is your policy on communication with resident’s families?

First as mentioned above, you have 24/7 access to our Executive Director, secondly our caregivers call families to inform them of not only accidents and injuries but also when the resident does something that is notable and good. We want our families to feel comfortable with us and to be able to discuss anything from the caregiver to the Executive Director.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays?

Unfortunately, this is not cost effective for you. First our non-refundable, one-time community fee is $2500, then you have the cost of your loved one’s room/restroom. While you only have to give 30-days written notice to move out of the community, most families find it expensive to pay the community fee for a respite stay. Given that, once you pay the community fee you never have to pay it again, even if you move out and back in again.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the level of care your loved one requires.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes, we are. Our residents are permitted to have pets; however, the caveat is that they need to be able to care for the pet on their own. We also charge a one-time $500 pet fee. We always welcome pet visits if the resident is unable to care for the pet on their own.

Are residents able to get COVID vaccination and flu vaccinations at your community?

Yes, our pharmacy, Trinity Apothecary does seasonal vaccination clinics for our community.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, that is a good selling point for our community. All of our houses are designed the same, so if a resident needed to move to a different level of care, the move is not as traumatic. We have hospice providers on campus as well. The only medical interventions we are unable to provide are feeding tubes, tracheostomy’s and PICC lines (IV lines).
