Overview of Professionals and Training

Our staff comprises various professionals with diverse skill sets. While CPR certification is common among our staff, it is not a mandatory requirement. We do not have nursing care or caregivers on staff.

Measures for Resident Safety and Well-being

Residents are expected to manage independently and have full privacy in their apartments. If a resident requires more assistance, we recommend caregiving services they can hire independently. Each apartment is equipped with pull cords to notify us in case of emergencies. We can also conduct wellness checks upon family request. While we have 24-hour emergency staffing, they do not provide personal care.

Resources and Support Services

To aid in the transition into our community, we offer resources for estate sales and moving companies. Additionally, we provide a program for two free hours of caregiving services through a company that frequently interacts with many of our residents.

Process for Addressing Complaints or Issues

Our community staff has low turnover rates. The Business Office Director manages rent, billing, and any arising concerns. The Community Director, who has been with us since the inception of the community three years ago, is deeply invested in the residents' well-being. Weekly, a resident council and a resident ambassador bring suggestions and concerns to our Director.

Communication with Residents' Families

Residents are entitled to privacy and manage their own decisions, including informing their families. If the resident requests, we will communicate with their families or contact them in emergencies. We do not provide frequent health status reports.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

We do not offer respite stays. Our contracts are month-to-month with a 60-day move-out notice.

Pet Policy

Our community is pet-friendly. The property features a lake, attracting many pet owners due to the wildlife and walking paths.

Vaccinations

We organize flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics annually. Residents are responsible for signing up and arranging their appointments with our activities planner.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place if they manage their caregiving independently. While providing amenities like 24-hour staff, meals, and housekeeping, some residents continue even on hospice care in their apartments. Should a resident require higher levels of care, we may recommend an assisted living community.

Availability and Leasing

Usually, we move to a waitlist during the busy summer season. Currently, there are a few apartments available with flexible pricing. What size apartment are you looking for?
