I hope you are doing well.

The staff in memory care work in a household model and use the universal worker mentality. Therefore, everyone helps with everything, focusing on oversight of all the residents.

Staffing during wake hours:

• 2 cooks
• 2 nurses
• 2 activity assistants
• 2 housekeepers
• 1 MC director
• 6 aides
• 1 beautician

Total staff=16

50 residents total in unit

That’s about 3 residents per staff member in the unit for oversight

Regulations in AL are not based on staff ratios but are based on direct care hours weekly.

Florida AL regulations require MC to staff 375 hours of direct care a week, Morselife MC staffs 1,113 hours of direct care a week which is almost 3xs the required amount.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

Sent to our Memory Care Director and it will be addressed immediately

What is your policy on communication with resident's families?

We can communicate in person, text, and via email. How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? Text, call, or email

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays?

No, just short-term rehab if needed. How much does this cost? Would have to call Alesha Campbell in Admissions at 561-472-2900
