Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
No
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Prior to a team member starting by themselves on the floor- they complete a full 5 days (or more if needed) with one on one oversite for the duties they are expected to do. Prior to being on their own they are signed off by the clinical team for approval to move forward, or they will be scheduled more training. Our team is also expected to complete Radiance (culture training) and Lavender Sky (Dementia Training) within the first 30 days of employment. If it is a leadership team that is starting with the community, they will complete training on a regional level and will visit multiple community within the first 14 days of employment.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
All residents receive safety checks on a frequent basis. The residents routine is learned within the first 30 days of what the team member should expect while getting to know the resident. Safety checks do continue. If a resident is not seen within the time frame of a safety check, then a head count will be completed. We also in AL would recommend a resident use a pendant so they are able to call at any time for assistance or any needs that are requested.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Our care team, activities staff and other team members make it priority to welcome and help our new residents integrate into schedules and activities. As part of our agreement packet we have a form called "To Know Me is to Love Me." It provides a way for you to tell us all about the things you like don't like, past jobs, hobbies, family etc. We use this to get to know our new resident and also build activities around the interests of our residents.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We offer a full service dining room open all day 7:30am-6:30pm
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We follow what we call a grievance process. This process starts the investigation of a complaint. It helps us follow the path of when, what, where, how, and who. Once the complaint is resolved then we close the investigation and implement the changes in our monthly safety/quality improvement plan meeting.
What is the cost of living in your community?
This depends on the size of the apartment. Our studios start at $6300/month. Our care levels start at $995/month.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We communicate with families regularly and as needed. Families are always welcome to contact our staff at any time for updates. We do an assessment of new residents on the day they move in and at 30 days and annually. If there is a change in condition we will reassess again. All of this is shared with family members when they are completed.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes; $350/day; 2 week minimum stay
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes No
