Overview of Staff Professionals and Training

We have 7 department managers, medical technicians, a housekeeper, and resident advisors. Our 7 department managers have various backgrounds and education. I have attached each of their titles and their phone numbers, so you can understand each of the manager roles that are employed here. The med techs have to take a training course and pass a test in order to get their certification and our whole team has ongoing monthly training through Relias. Relias is a computer training module that trains everyone on everything from infection control to fire safety. These are ongoing monthly modules that are taken all year long.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have a pendant that is worn around the neck and your loved one would push that button anytime they need assistance. There are emergency pull cords next to the toilet and shower. We always have someone here 24/7. The RAs walk the halls and check on each of our residents at every shift change and throughout their shift.

Support Services for Transitioning into the Community

We have counseling that is available through our provider and a 30-day check-in process worksheet that the managers follow. We also have a resident welcome committee.

Transportation Services

Transportation is available to medical appointments Tuesdays-Thursdays from 9am-2pm.

Dining Experience

We have restaurant-style dining. The meals are prepared onsite. The menus are passed out the night prior and we aid in helping your loved one select their meals. There are always 2 main entrée choices plus an “Always Available” menu. Our mealtimes are 8am, Noon, and 5pm. We also pass a snack and hydration cart at 10am and 2pm.

Complaint or Issue Resolution Process

There is a page in the lease agreement that addresses complaints and issues. I have attached it for your review. We also have our managers here every day from 9-5pm. Our Executive Director’s office door is always open. We have monthly resident council meetings and food council meetings as well. Our managers make monthly calls to our family members and do Family Connect calls also to check in with our family members.

Cost of Living

The cost varies based on the square footage of our apartments. The rates start at $3895/month and go up from there.

Communication Policy with Resident's Families

We have email communications for updates on events and such, and care plan meetings between our clinical team and the resident family members occur every 6 months or if there is a change in condition.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We are currently not accepting any respite stays, as we are nearing 100% occupancy.

Pet Policy

We do allow pets as long as the resident can care for the pet and pick up after the pet.

Waitlist Status

We currently do not have a waitlist. I have a one-bedroom suite and a studio that will be ready to rent within a week and that is it.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Aging in Place

Yes, as long as their health issues are within our scope of practice. We have a lot of residents that partner with hospice and live with us until they pass.
