Floor Plans & Apartment Rates

Day Break – Studio Apartment $4,100

Sunrise- 1 Bedroom Apartment $4,700

New Dawn- 2 Bedroom Apartment $6,000

Additional Person Fee- $1,000

Added Level of Care

The level of care will be determined during the required Functional Evaluation which will be scheduled prior to move in. Residents are reevaluated bi-annually or as needed to ensure the appropriate level of care. Levels are determined based on the quantity and nature of staff or medical interventions required each day. There is an additional fee assigned if a resident requires a level of care:

Level 1: $800/mo

Level 2: $1,200/mo

Level 3: $1,600/mo

Level 4: $2,000/mo

Level 5: $2,400/mo

Waitlist Deposit

A waitlist, it is a list of future residents that have made a choice to move to our community in the future. This deposit, does not “hold” nor “reserve” an apartment for you. To be put on a waitlist, it is a $1,000 non-refundable fee.

Reserving an Apartment

Reserving an apartment, holds and reserves the apartment you have selected and does require a move in within 30 days. A deposit of $2,000 is required to reserve and hold the apartment. The $2,000 deposit, will go towards the resident’s 1st months’ rent rate.

Community Fee

One-time fee of $2,500 applied to the general upkeep & maintenance of Morning Star Village.

Nursing Staff Availability

We have a RN in the building from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., then we have the RN on call overnight. We have CNAs available 24 hours a day. We have a Nurse Practitioner who visits residents typically once per week.

Emergency Response System

All residents have a push pendant that they wear. If they push their pendant, it will notify the nursing station, and we can locate that resident. They also have pull cords in their bedroom and bathrooms. We do have cameras throughout the common areas and outdoor spaces that are monitored. Our nursing staff and CNAs keep a close eye on our residents.

Service Requests and Availability

Yes, we can help depending on what the service requests are.

Transportation and Outings

We offer transportation services three days a week to doctor appointments. We also organize outings in the community.

Dining Room and Meals

Our dining room was recently renovated. It is a beautiful space with a lot of windows. Residents receive three meals a day in the dining room. The residents order off a menu. If they do not care for that day's special, there is also a "general" menu that includes items like hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and more.

Complaint Resolution Process

If a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed, they can bring it up with our staff. Our nursing staff work very well with our residents' families. If there are any concerns, we will reach out to the contact person. Families are also free to call our staff to check in on their loved ones whenever they wish. Families are welcome to visit our campus at any time.

Respite Care

Yes, we have respite rooms. It is $200 per day and that includes level 1 care. If more care is needed, there would be additional charges.

Pet Policy

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.

Waitlist Information

We do not have a waitlist.

Vaccination

Yes, residents are able to get vaccinated.

Length of Stay

We are an Assisted Living (AL) community. Yes, residents can stay here for the rest of their life. They may have outside resources such as in-home care or hospice come in. Others have left to go to a more skilled care setting.
