Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training

Our Director of Nursing, a registered nurse (RN), leads our team of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) who manage daily medication distribution and are available for emergencies around the clock. Our certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and resident assistants (RAs) provide daily care to our residents. All nurses and CNAs undergo necessary continuing education to maintain their certifications/licenses, and our entire staff participates in monthly trainings on various topics as required by the State of Tennessee.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we provide emergency pendants and have pull-cord emergency boxes in every public space and resident room. Our staff conducts nightly rounds to ensure resident safety.

Support Services for Residents' Transition

We gather detailed information about potential residents to facilitate their transition into our community, supported by a resident ambassador who helps with introductions and encourages participation in activities.

Transportation Services

Our bus service is available for residents' medical appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and for outings and activities on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Dining Experience

We offer three meals a day at set times in our dining room. Menus for lunch and dinner are provided at breakfast, and for residents who prefer to sleep in, our staff will collect their meal orders from their apartments.

Addressing Residents' Complaints and Issues

Our Executive Director maintains an open door policy, allowing residents to discuss any issues or concerns directly.

Communication with Residents' Families

Clinical messages or issues are communicated by the floor nurse or the director of nursing, while community-wide messages are sent via a messaging system by our executive director. For specific issues concerning a resident, the Executive Director will reach out directly by phone or email, as preferred.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We currently do not have a respite room available due to full occupancy.

Pet-Friendly Community

Residents are allowed to have pets, provided they can care for them independently.

Vaccination Clinics

We offer flu and Covid vaccination clinics throughout the year for our residents.

Aging in Place

Through partnerships with home health and hospice agencies, we support residents' ability to age in place, adhering to the State of Tennessee regulations.

Availability and Waitlist Information

We have an apartment available in Assisted Living but maintain a waiting list for our memory care. There is a short waitlist for both assisted living and memory care, particularly for our larger apartments.
