Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

We currently have a wait list for independent living. I have 1 1br and a couple studios in assisted living, and availability in our memory care.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

We have a nurse that oversees the building, QMAPS that give medications, and Ras that provide cares to residents. They are trained here in the community. Memory care staff have to do additional dementia training to work in the memory care wing.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

We have emergency pull cords in the bedroom and bathrooms, and pendants that residents wear in case of an emergency. If residents require additional safety checks it would be written into their personalized care plans.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We have a resident ambassador program where current residents help new residents get adjusted to the community in addition to staff support depending on care needs.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

We do have a bus that provides transportation to doctor appointments, errands and shopping, outings, and scenic drives.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

Our meals are restaurant style where residents order off a menu that has a couple of options for each meal. We also have an always available menu to choose from. Meal times are extended so residents can come down to meals at their preferred time. Breakfast is 7-930am, lunch 11-130, dinner 3-6. If a resident requires a special diet by the physician we have help the resident choose options that follow the recommended diet such as sugar free desserts and carb controlled diet.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

There are resident grievance forms they can fill out, meet with the executive director and work to resolve the issue.

What is the cost of living in your community?

I’ve attached the rates brochure for you to look over with the rates and community fee. Studio apartments start at $4400.000.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

Our executive director sends out a communication letter to family members to update such things as covid outbreak status. Families can call to get updates on their loved ones, staff call if there is anything of concern with a resident. We have care meetings quarterly or with change of conditions with family members.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We do have respite stays available with a 2 week minimum stay. The rate would be $250-$350 depending on care needs.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Our community is pet friendly. There is a one time pet fee of $1000.00 payable at move in. Pets need to be approved by our executive director and dogs would need to be under 25# and on a leash at all times when out of their apartment.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

We offer covid and flu vaccination clinics here at the community. Staff are required to get their flu shot or have to wear a mask during flu season.

Are residents able to age in place?

Residents are able to age in place at our community. We partner with the hospice of your choice to provide extra support for your loved one during end of life. We currently have a wait list for independent living. I have 1 1br and a couple studios in assisted living, and availability in our memory care.
