Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our facility boasts a diverse team of care providers including skilled physicians, nurse practitioners, a Nursing department led by a Director of Nursing with two Assistant Directors, and a dedicated team of RNs, LVNs, and CNAs. All staff are available 24/7 and undergo regular training on the latest patient safety protocols and best practices.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we conduct regular training sessions for our staff, perform patient rounds at least every two hours, and have equipped each room with a call system for immediate assistance.
Transition Support Services
We have an Admissions Coordinator and a licensed social worker to assist patients and their families during their transition into our facility, providing an overview of what to expect and addressing any concerns.
Transportation Services
Transportation services are available for crucial appointments such as dialysis or specialty appointments.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience includes two main entrée choices with several sides, alternate meals like sandwiches or salads, and dietary plans based on medical needs. Meals are served three times daily in our dining room.
Complaint Resolution Process
Complaints are taken seriously, documented on a grievance form, and addressed promptly by our staff, particularly our social worker, for timely resolution.
Communication with Residents' Families
Upon admission, a comprehensive assessment is conducted, followed by a care plan meeting with the resident and their family to discuss the plan of care and goals transparently.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Respite stays are available at our facility.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are a pet-friendly community, allowing for pet visitations but not live-in pets.
Vaccination Services
Residents may receive Covid and flu vaccines in-house.
Aging in Place
While we support aging in place to some extent, the level of independence may be more limited compared to living in one’s own home or an ALF. We currently do not have a waitlist for semi-private rooms.
