Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do have a waitlist; it depends on what size apartment you are wanting. We also have availability.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have directors in management and our frontline staff is trained on how to provide services to our senior residents. It’s very in depth and must meet the regulations of the state of Nevada.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Everyone that works with us is a mandated reporter, we have a safety committee within our team. We have all residents sign in and out of the community so that we know when they are out of house. We have a morning check in policy daily for every resident by 9am.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We check on our new residents frequently to make sure that they are acclimated to the community upon move in and give they a resident handbook to help answer questions and guide them. Also, the frequency of the check depend on how much assistance a resident is needing.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We off transportation services within a certain radius for doctor appointments 2x week on a scheduled basis. We also schedule outings and shopping for residents to sign up for.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our dining experience is called ‘Simply yours’, we offer hot and cold breakfast, lunch is the main/largest meal, we offer a couple of hot and cold options for dinner, and you can “grab and go” or dine in the dining room for meals.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Residents can speak to any manager about concerns or schedule a time to meet with me to get their concerns addressed. We also have a resident council committee that is run by the residents.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Families ask for different communication methods. We ask that you let us know how much you would like to be communicated with, and we reach out whenever there is a change of condition with residents so that families are updated as often as needed.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer short term or respite stays.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are a pet friendly community if the residents reside in Assisted Living and care still care for the pet independently.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Usually in the fall, we have a local clinic provide flu shots. Some may offer COVID, it just depends on who we have doing the clinics.
Are residents able to age in place?
Residents can age in place; however, we do not accept a high acuity of care. It depends on each individual resident and what their needs are at that time. We do have a waitlist; it depends on what size apartment you are wanting. We also have availability.
