Overview of Staff and Training

Our independent living facility is staffed with trained professionals who prioritize the well-being of our residents. While we do not assist directly in emergencies or falls, our staff is trained to call 911 and wait for professional help to arrive. In our neighboring facility, which accommodates Assisted Living and Memory Care, there is 24-hour caregiver staff available to provide necessary assistance to residents.

Safety and Security Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, the doors of the independent living facility are locked at 8:00 pm. Access thereafter requires individuals to press a button at the front door to call the concierge for assistance or entry. We have a 24-hour concierge service to assist residents around the clock.

Support Services for Transition

We offer resources and support to aid residents and their families in transitioning into our community. If residents require more care, we provide them with resources to find the appropriate support. Should a transition to Assisted Living or Memory Care be necessary, we guide families through this process.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services for residents with the following schedule: - Medical appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (48-hour notice required). - Shopping trips on Wednesday, with drop-offs at locations such as Walmart, Target, and the Dollar Store. - Social outings on Friday to locations like the Denver Aquarium, Cripple Creek, restaurants, and museums.

Dining Experience

Residents can enjoy a restaurant-style dining experience from Monday to Saturday, with meals served at the following times: - Breakfast: 7:30 am - 9:30 am - Lunch: 11:45 am - 2:00 pm - Dinner: 4:45 pm - 7:00 pm Additionally, a bistro option is available for lunch without server assistance, and on Sunday, a continental breakfast is self-served, with grab-and-go sandwiches available for dinner.

Handling of Complaints and Issues

Residents may express concerns through comment cards or by scheduling an appointment with management to discuss any issues directly.

Communication with Residents' Families

Families are kept informed about their loved ones by our concierge, who contacts them in the event of a fall, illness, or hospitalization.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

Our lease contracts are month-to-month, but we do not currently offer dedicated respite rooms.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Our community is pet-friendly, welcoming pets as part of our residents’ families.

Current Availability

We maintain a waitlist and currently have two prospects awaiting 1-bedroom apartments, with openings anticipated in the next two months. Our occupancy stands at 94%.

Vaccination Opportunities

Residents of the independent living facility have the opportunity to receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations through a clinic visiting our Assisted Living building, with appointments available through our front desk.

Aging in Place

We support residents in aging in place by offering resources for additional care services, such as medication management and assistance with daily living activities. If further care is needed, we work with families to ensure a smooth transition to Assisted Living or Memory Care.
