The training our staff undergoes is comprehensive, covering both the technical aspects of their roles and the soft skills necessary to provide compassionate care and support.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have several measures in place. While we await more detailed information from our security department, it's important to note that we have a nurse available 24 hours a day. Additionally, each apartment and bathroom is equipped with emergency pull cords.

Transition Support Services

Our social worker, who has been with us for 13 years, plays a crucial role in helping residents with any transitions, changes in health, and other concerns. This support is vital in ensuring a smooth adjustment to community life.

Transportation Services

We offer valet services for medical appointments and shuttle services for shopping, outings, and other activities, ensuring our residents have access to transportation when they need it.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is designed to be as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, with assigned seating for Assisted Living residents and two dining times. The restaurant-style service adds to the overall dining pleasure.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents can express their concerns or complaints through various channels, including a suggestion box or at monthly meetings with our Executive Director. Our Nurse Manager also maintains an open-door policy for any immediate concerns.

Communication with Residents' Families

Communication with a resident's family depends on the nature of the information being shared. Our nurse typically reaches out to the Power of Attorney for significant matters, and we also send out a weekly email with updates to keep families informed.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays at a rate of $200/day, which is all-inclusive regarding care levels and services provided.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community is pet-friendly, with a weight limit of 40 pounds. Residents in Assisted Living must be able to care for their pet, or if unable, arrange for a service to do so.

Waitlist Information

While we currently have a waitlist, it is not very long. Some individuals on the list have not expressed interest for some time, potentially opening up opportunities for new residents.

Vaccination Availability

Residents have the opportunity to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community, ensuring their health and safety.

Aging in Place

Our community supports the concept of aging in place, allowing residents to stay in a familiar environment as their needs change over time.
