Community Details

Our Nursing and Aid Staff
In our community, we have a dedicated RN who oversees our nursing/aid staff, which includes LPNs, Med Techs, CNA's, and CHHA's. Each shift is staffed with one of each, and our RN is always on call for emergencies after hours, ready to assess all situations. We prioritize ongoing training for our staff, including sessions with outside businesses and organizations on new and different equipment, ensuring the best care for our residents.
Safety and Security
Our community is fully enclosed to ensure the safety of all residents, including those in memory care. Residents enjoy access to our secured courtyard and are equipped with pull cords and pendants for emergencies, ensuring help is always within reach.
Transition and Integration
While we don't have specific resources for transitioning into our community, we focus on increased attentiveness to help new residents familiarize themselves without feeling alone or confused.
Transportation and Dining
We offer a transportation bus for resident trips and appointments, ensuring mobility and independence. Our dining experience mimics restaurant-style service, offering daily options and a menu for alternative choices, catering to all preferences.
Feedback and Complaints
We encourage residents to voice complaints, using their feedback to maintain our facility. Complaints can be directed to aids or management, and unresolved issues can be taken to an ombudsman for advocacy.
Exclusions and Shopping
Our community does not include cable, phone, and personal hygiene products within the service package. However, we facilitate shopping trips and accept deliveries for residents to obtain necessary items.
Family Communication and Health Concerns
We maintain open communication with our residents' families, providing updates and photos. Health concerns are promptly communicated by our Director of Nursing, Melissa, ensuring families are involved in medical decisions.
Pet-Friendly Environment
Our community welcomes pets, including cats and smaller dogs, and encourages family visits with pets, enhancing the living experience for our residents.
Capacity and Waitlist
Due to our full capacity, we do not offer respite stays but maintain a small waitlist for prospective residents.
Health and Safety Measures
We host periodic flu and COVID vaccine clinics to safeguard our community's health.
Age in Place Community
As an age in place community, we support our residents through end-of-life care, bringing in necessary equipment and hospice services to ensure comfort and dignity in a familiar environment.
