Our Staff and Services
We have staff of RN’s, LPN’s, CNAs, and a number of providers that bring services to campus, such as our Rehab team, HealthDrive, CMHS, PACT Medical Group. We have a recreation team, social worker and admin staff. Dining services, environmental services, campus security and transportation department. All staff are screened by HR and regular education is scheduled. We are licensed by the state of CT. We belong to CALA and our CCRC is CARF accredited.
Security and Safety
24 hour campus security. Security and Alarm system with pull cords in each apartment and all restrooms. Every resident has a pendent. Fire Department less than 5 minutes away.
Resident Transition and Support
All departments meet with new residents and supports are in place to transition the residents.
Transportation and Outings
15 miles radius for Medical appointments. Recreation offers/directs transportation for trips, shopping, outings, etc.
Resident Concerns and Council
Concerns are handled by the appropriate department manager. We also have a resident council which meets monthly. Departments are present on a quarterly basis.
Communication
We have an email contact for weekly memos, recreation and dining calendars. We have a cell phone that the nurse carries on each shift and email for all nursing concerns. We have a switchboard operator to our security department 24/7.
Respite Care
Attached is our Respite Flyer. Minimum of 30day contract is required.
Pet Policy
Pet Friendly. Deposit required. Resident must be able to care for the pet.
Health Clinics
We have regular clinics for Flu and Covid vaccinations by the pharmacy we work with.
Levels of Care and Transition
Residents have access to Levels of Care 1-5. Once they have needs beyond AL, we transition to our Masonicare Health Center for skilled nursing. If the resident goes on hospice and we can appropriately meet their needs with a combination of care services, the resident can remain with us until the end of their journey. We always emphasize what is best for the resident.
