Pricing

Our pricing is $265 per day for the assisted living and $350 per day for the skilled nursing facility.

Facilities

We are a secured property that has the resident rooms open into large courtyard areas.

Room Layouts

We do not have any private rooms, but have some semi-private, three bedrooms, and four-bedroom layouts.

Types of Professionals on Our Staff and Their Training

Our facility boasts a diverse team of professionals who undergo extensive and ongoing training. Training topics include fall prevention, dealing with behaviors, HIPAA compliance, and recognizing and preventing abuse and neglect.

Measures to Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, all state and federal regulations are strictly followed. Additionally, safety rounds are conducted at least every hour in the Assisted Living Facility (ALF), and at least every two hours in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Resources and Support Services for Transition into the Community

We have a dedicated Social Services Director who arranges all necessary services in the community before a resident is discharged.

Transportation Services

Our facility provides transportation via a facility van, which is available for activities or emergency situations only.

Dining Experience

Residents are offered a daily menu with alternatives if they do not wish to eat the provided meal. While we encourage dining in our communal dining room, residents can choose to eat in their rooms if they prefer, and a room tray will be provided.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

We have a structured grievance process in place. Complaints are investigated and documented, and residents receive communication about the resolutions put in place.

Communication with Residents' Families

Communication with families is handled on an as-needed basis or whenever there are any changes in the resident's condition.

Short-term and Respite Stays

Yes, we offer short-term and respite stays. The cost is $265 per day for Assisted Living (AL) and $350 per day for the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Pet Policy

Pets have been allowed in our community in the past, and each case is evaluated individually.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, residents are able to receive COVID-19 vaccinations and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

We strive to allow residents to age in place for as long as possible, though transfers may be necessary if we can no longer meet their needs. Currently, there is no waiting list.

Maryland Gardens Overview

Maryland Gardens is a unique CMS 5 Star facility that has a secured 53-bed skilled nursing/long-term care unit that specializes in behavioral health patients with a serious mental illness, and a secured 40-bed behavioral health licensed assisted living facility that specializes in neurocognitive disorders with behaviors.

Skilled Nursing Facility

At the skilled nursing facility, we provide wound care and IV infusion, as well as skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Behavioral Health Services

Maryland Gardens also offers on-site counseling four days a week to assist with management of behavioral concerns.
