Yes, residents are able to age in place and the beds are dually certified thru the Medicare and Medicaid program.

Short-term Respite Care

Yes, we offer short-term respite care. The rate is the same as the private pay daily billable rates: $420.00 daily rate.

Communication

We offer communication forms which are readily available on each unit. They are completed by the elder or responsible party and addressed on a daily basis. Responsible parties are kept updated by nursing staff. General communications are texted.

Complaint Process

If there is a complaint, a communication form is completed and submitted to the facility Compliance Officer and Risk Investigator to get to the root cause, investigate, and follow up with the responsible party.

Meals and Diet

At MTB, we have a chef on staff preparing high-quality meals. Elders have a choice of where they choose to receive meals, either in their room or the dining room. If an elder needs assistance with meals, CNAs and nurses can assist with meal setup and feeding. The kitchen will prepare meals according to diet orders (chopped, pureed, mechanical, low sodium, cardiac diet, etc.). We encourage socialization by having meals in dining rooms. We want to ensure meals are served hot and to the elders' liking. The menu is completed and submitted every two weeks in accordance with State guidelines.

Transportation

Yes, we offer transportation to appointments with a wheelchair van.

Safety and Security

Safety and security are the primary goals for all our residents. We have two totally secured exterior courtyards and door alarms. All staff receive ongoing continuing education and training on elder safety in accordance with State Regulation. The well-being of our elders is also met by providing a balance of activities to meet their physical and mental needs. We believe in the Eden Philosophy of a home-like environment, helping them thrive.

Staff Education and Philosophy

All staff undergo continuing education based on their discipline within the building and must meet State requirements for education to maintain their licensure. The professionals in this building are compassionate, committed, and caring. We believe in 100% accountability and zero excuses. Our philosophy is "One heart at a time."
