Staff Availability and Training
We currently have 4 full-time LPNs on staff. Our MedTechs and CNAs/PCAs are available 24/7. All staff receive monthly and annual training in various healthcare fields including CPR, AED, First Aid, Dementia, and Fire Safety.
Safety and Security Measures
We have a Wandergaurd system in place and operate a locked memory unit. Monthly fire drills and evacuation drills are conducted regularly to ensure safety.
Support for Residents and Families
We assist our residents and their families with transition needs such as making doctor appointments, obtaining medical equipment, setting up home health services, and providing information on adult daycare.
Transportation
Although we do not offer facility transport, we are conveniently located next to a Community Transit Company and provide information for setting up transportation services.
Dining Services
Metz Culinary handles all our dining needs. We have an onsite Bistro/coffee shop that is free for families and residents, as well as community and private dining rooms.
Feedback and Communication
We have a suggestions/comments box that we check and address regularly. All reported complaints are investigated promptly. Contact information for DOH and Ombudsmen is readily available. We keep in constant contact with our families via phone, email, and mail, as well as through frequent in-person conversations.
Respite Stays
We offer respite stays at $156.50 per day with a minimum stay of 5 days.
Pet Policy
At this time, we do not allow live-in pets; however, pet visitors are welcome.
Vaccinations
We provide flu, COVID, and shingles vaccinations to all residents who wish to participate annually.
Aging in Place and Room Availability
Our residents are able to age in place with memory care and onsite hospice services available as their needs progress. Currently, we have one private room, two shared female rooms, and one shared male room available in Personal Care. In Memory Care, there are three private rooms and two shared female rooms available.
