Accommodation Types

Discounts and Payment Options

A 10% discount is available for veterans as a token of appreciation for their service. The community is non-Medicaid and operates on a private pay basis.

Respite and Short-Term Stays

Respite care and short-term stays are available, with a typical minimum stay of two weeks recommended to ensure a smooth transition, although a one-month stay is preferred.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in the community, provided that the resident can care for them completely independently. The policy may vary between memory care and assisted living, with potential fees or deposits applicable.

Transportation Services

Transportation services are provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays on a first-come, first-serve basis, facilitating residents' mobility and independence.

Dining Experience

The community is structured as a cottage community with seven cottages on the property, offering a homelike dining experience.

Staffing and Medical Care

There are no fixed staffing ratios as per state regulations, but the community ensures that two care partners are always present in memory care, and a nurse is available 24/7. Staffing levels are adjusted based on the census. A house doctor is available, and a nurse practitioner makes weekly rounds.

Safety Measures

Residents are provided with pendants for safety and emergency response, ensuring peace of mind for both residents and their families.

Complaint Resolution

A grievance committee is in place to address and resolve any complaints or concerns raised by residents, ensuring a structured and fair process.

Family Communication

The facility communicates with residents' families through various channels, including letters, a portal, email, and phone calls, ensuring transparency and regular updates.

Assistance with Moving

While the community does not physically assist with moving, they provide a wealth of informational pamphlets and can offer references to help residents with the transition into the community.

Veteran Support

The community honors veterans and is located near a veteran clinic, providing convenient access to services and a supportive environment for those who have served.
