Types of Professionals on Staff and Training
Our facility is staffed by a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including 2 house doctors, 3 nurse practitioners, multiple Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). These professionals receive extensive training from their respective educational institutions. Additionally, we provide in-house training focused on our specific systems and processes. We also offer recertification programs for essential skills such as CPR.Safety and Well-being Measures for Residents
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we tailor our measures according to individual needs. We offer regular rounding every 2 hours if necessary. For residents identified as fall risks, scoop mattresses and lowering beds to the lowest safe position are utilized.Resources and Support Services for Community Transition
Our social services department is equipped to provide all necessary resources and support that a patient may require when transitioning into the community after discharge.Transportation Services
We have a dedicated van and collaborate with another company to offer transportation services for our residents.Dining Experience
Residents have the option to enjoy their meals either in the privacy of their rooms or in the communal dining room with fellow residents. Meals are delivered to them, and residents can choose their meals in advance.Complaint Resolution Process
Residents can voice their complaints or issues to any staff member, who will then report the concern to upper management, such as the Director of Nursing or Administrator, to ensure the issue is resolved promptly.Communication with Resident's Families
We maintain active communication with the families of our residents. Our social services conduct weekly care conferences for short-term patients, with long-term care patients having less frequent updates as needed. Families also have the option to reach out to our nursing staff or receive updates from clinical staff regarding any changes in a resident's condition.Short-term and Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays at the rate of $300 per day, with a maximum duration of 14 days.Pet-friendly Community
We are a pet-friendly community where pets are allowed to visit residents, provided we have a copy of vaccination records. However, animals cannot stay overnight.Covid and Flu Vaccination Availability
Residents can choose to receive their Covid and flu vaccinations from our facility or seek them at an external provider such as Walgreens.Aging in Place
