Overview of Staff and Training
Our facility has a dedicated nursing team that consists of Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Qualified Medication Aides (QMAs). All these professionals are required to maintain their licenses in good standing. In addition to licensure, every staff member undergoes mandatory training in various topics, including understanding resident rights, dementia training, and other essential competencies.Safety and Well-being Measures
Our facility prioritizes security with all doors locked to ensure both staff and resident safety. This measure keeps potential threats out and ensures any wandering residents remain safe within the facility.Support for Resident Transition
To ensure a smooth transition into our community, our admissions director connects with the family and resident upon admission. The leadership team meets with every new resident within 24 hours of arrival to ensure they are comfortable and to assist in making the environment feel like home.Transportation Services
We provide transportation for our residents to medical appointments, hospital visits if needed, and trips to the store or bank.Dining Experience
Our dining is traditionally set up in the cafeteria, where we encourage communal dining during meal periods. We accommodate specific dietary needs and can deliver meals directly to residents' rooms if necessary. Meals are served at 8:30 am, 12 pm, and 5 pm.Complaint and Issue Resolution
Residents can fill out a grievance form for any issues, which is then reviewed daily in leadership meetings. We prioritize resolving concerns quickly and effectively as a team.Communication with Families
Our nursing team communicates regularly with resident families, especially if they are listed as emergency contacts. They keep families updated on residents' well-being and notify them of any changes in condition.Short-term and Respite Stays
We offer short-term rehab and respite stays for $220 daily if paying out of pocket, with the cost of skilled therapy varying individually. Some insurances may cover these stays.Pet Policy
We are a pet-friendly community and welcome family pets for visits. However, pets cannot live or stay overnight in the facility, and they must be up to date with vaccinations.Waitlist Status
